HAMILTON -Internal Affairs Minister Mark Burton has delayed any public comment on the Fire Service's inquiry into Hamilton fire chief Grant Olsen.
Mr Burton was expected to announce the findings of the inquiry yesterday.
He called for the investigation two weeks ago after an audit report of Mr Olsen's office was made public.
The report states that Mr Olsen breached the Fire Service's fraud policy on numerous occasions.
A spokesman for Mr Burton's office, Chris Roberts, said the minister wanted to spend more time studying the inquiry's findings before commenting publicly, but an announcement could be made today.
