UPDATE: Four people appeared in Tauranga District Court today following methamphetamine (P) related arrests.
Kereopa Howard Bennett, 54, from Te Puke faced charges of possession of methamphetamine for supply, and possession of P drug utensils. He was remanded without plea on bail and is due back in court on April 10.
David Peter Anderson, 47, of Hairini, also appeared in court today charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply and driving while disqualified.
Police opposed bail. Anderson was remanded in custody without plea. His next appearance is April 2 in the High Court in Rotorua for a bail hearing.
Two others were also expected to appear in Tauranga District Court today facing methamphetamine dealing charges.
EARLIER: Four people are expected to appear in Tauranga District Court today following methamphetamine related arrests.
A 54-year-old man from Te Puke and 47-year-old man from Hairini were arrested yesterday and charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
Shortly later a 37-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, also from Hairini, were also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
All four are expected to appear in court today.
