Wellington Bowls Association enjoyed a comprehensive victory in their visit for the representative game with Wanganui yesterday.
At Gonville Bowling Club, Wellington's open senior men finished with 12 points +14, while the development team made 9 points +33 for an overall score of 21 points plus +47. Amongst a good team was New Zealand representative Lance Pascoe, who has just moved from Christchurch to Wellington.
Wanganui open men made four points -14, while the development team got seven points -33, for an overall total of 11 points -47.
At Wanganui East Bowling Club there was even less reason to go to a third round in the women's matchups as Wellington were dominant.
The open women finished with 12 points, +53, while development made 10 points, =58 for a total of 22 points, +111.
