Sturdy footwear, warm clothing & rain gear; binoculars, walking pole helpful. BYO lunch, snacks & plenty to drink. Kapiti has an important role in NZ history, pest eradication and native bird management. Study and explore the coast and
forest. Time (1 hours) is available to climb the steep Tuteremoana. Depart 6.45am; return approx. 6.30pm. Adult $125; Child $115.
Waverley Tour

The Pātea Historical Society opened a window on Pātea in last year's Summer Programme and will do the same on Monday in Waverley. Attractions include a street walk with well-known historian Laraine Sole and visits to an 1878 battle site, a fascinating museum and to Waverley Beach. Depart 9am; return approx. 5pm. Adult $25; child $16.
