"Love is how you earn your wings." - Karen Goldman
Have you ever wondered about angels?
Have you ever had them signal you in an unmistakable way? I have and many people have told me that they have too. If you haven't then when you spend some time in quiet meditation, ask
your angels to answer your prayers. I have found out that it doesn't help to try to tell the angels what I want, but simply to ask for help with the things in life that I find difficult. Then I notice and know the sign when I see it.
Over the last few years signs for me have come during my walks at parks and lakes, beaches and where there are trees. Sometimes nature speaks to me through birds, or feathers, a rainbow or in the clouds. I especially find signs in music, fragrances and lights.
Some people have told me that they have found their angels speaking through unexpected opportunities, phone calls or in a book they just happened to choose to read.
Whatever the sign you get, trust in it. Because I know, and some of my friends know that the angels always answer our prayers and our requests.
Although not always in the way we might expect them to. All we have to do is ask.
My angels have encouraged me to love everyone.
Now that is a challenge. I have never had trouble loving people who struggle with life and will always help them when I can, but people I consider to be rich, I find less easy to see the face of God in them.
But I know that compassionate action is the answer, learning to love everyone because they all have their own challenges in life to overcome.
That is their path, and mine is my path. Loving each other does earn us our wings, as Karen Goldman the author of several Angel books, puts it.
So this is our challenge this week, to love as many people as we can. Arohanui
