Sunday provided an opportunity to walk across and discover back country New Zealand and all for a good cause.
The Fordell-Mangamahu branch of Rural Women New Zealand once again hosted its annual fundraising walk, this year starting at Okoia.
"We're just using two of our members' farms," rural women member
Carol Teutscher said.
The circuit, which started on Waikupa Rd and took in the Matarawa Valley was expected to take the walkers about five hours.
"And there will be little stops and points of interest along the way," Teutscher said.
