How about joining a small friendly club that Rallys approximately once a month?
You do not have to be self-contained to join the club. The Wanganui Caravan club is having a Rally at
the Wanganui Top 10 Holiday Park in Aramoho on the weekend of August 3/4 and would love to see you there.
Come and join them for a coffee on Saturday and find out more about the friendly club. The Wanganui Club celebrated their 50th birthday in February and were joined by lots of ex members who enjoyed meeting up with old and new members.
The club usually Rallys from Friday to Sunday but on the long weekends it can take a day or so longer. Members don't travel too far on the usual weekends but the longer weekends can see trips as far as New Plymouth, Otaki, Paraparaumu and Dannevirke.
The members will sit together for morning tea on Saturday morning and the Rally Captains will let them know if there are any places of interest that they may like to see. In the summer months the club prefers unpowered sites. Members get to go places they may not visit if they were not involved with the club.
