"You really have to look inside yourself and find your own inner strength, and say, I'm proud of what I am and who I am." — Mariah Carey

As last month morphs into September it seems that the year is rushing by.
Changes happening every day, new things to make decisions
about and new people to meet and share our lives with. September is a time of transition in both the northern and southern hemisphere. Yay! Spring is here. Vivian Greene, a visionary, artist, author and entrepreneur who spreads her message of greater love and awareness to everyone on the planet, tells us: "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain". So as the rains still come for a time and the winds blow, know that this is a time of transition.

With transition comes challenges and difficulties, and some painful situations in our lives. My Angels remind me that we all have some deep things going on inside us, that we each can reach down and find inner strength which will get us through. As I go through times of transition I become more and more aware that my true power comes from within me. It is not something that others can give me — true power requires that I lean on no-one else but me. I put aside some time every day to find that inner strength, so that those around me in the world cannot extinguish my light.

Let me share a little transition going on in my life right now. When I feel depressed I find that I am living in the past. This is not helpful. If I am anxious it is often about something yet to happen. So, I am trying to live in the present as this is when I feel most at peace.
So my friends, let's find ways to live in the present and take each new September day as it comes, as new life returns after winter, the days get longer, and the sun warmer. Live in the present, live in peace. Arohanui. — Shirley-Joy
