Investigation into blaze at Mt View Rd building

Police and a fire investigators are looking into a blaze at a Bastia Hill building overnight.

Fire and Emergency were called to the fire on Mt View Rd at 1.15am and Police were alerted a short time later.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the fire was contained in the property's kitchen and extinguished a short time after crews arrived.

The spokesperson said the fire is being treated as suspicious.
