"We're all going on a summer holiday..." - Written by Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett; sung by Cliff Richard.
Well, some of us are and some of us are not.
Some of us want to and can't; work, family, money, being some of the reasons for this.
For some of these reasons I
stayed home, and I am glad I did. I have been able to spend time with friends and family in a way different from other years. I have been able to appreciate my little piece of paradise here in Whanganui, get my hands dirty in the garden, stay in bed until lunch time and eat exactly what and when I wanted to.
I hope your summer holiday is allowing you to relax and enjoy this wonderful world we live in.
Another thing that I have been doing, with my Angels beside me, is creating my experiences for this year, with conscious decisions and intentions.
I believe that my intentions create my experiences. As Doreen Virtue so beautifully puts it, "Our expectations deep down in our heart and mind, are the script writers of the movie we experience called 'life'".
So I have started this year, by asking myself, as I enter a new situation - "What do I truly expect to occur here?" Then I will wait for my predictions to come true. I invite you to try this, and see if it works.
The bit that goes with this for me is knowing my Angels are present. For me this comes in a number of ways, I often sense their presence, a warm brush across my face, shoulders, hands or arms, an air pressure change or the scent of a beautiful fragrance. Sometimes I see a sparkle of light or colour out of the corner of my eye, or hear a loving whisper in my ear.
Often it is a simply knowing; and when that unmistakable knowingness is near me, I trust that it is so.
If you want to you can share your angel encounter, e-mail me on belbarow@clear.net.nz
I love hearing other people's stories of angel encounters.
And remember - your intentions create your experiences.
Arohanui.
