The Whanganui region recorded 95 new community cases of Covid-19, according to the Ministry of Health's update on Thursday.

The ministry reported there were no cases of Covid-19 in Whanganui Hospital.

Nationally, there were 7870 new community cases of Covid-19.

Throughout the country, there were 389 people in hospital with Covid-19.

The ministry reported the deaths of 13 people with Covid-19.
