There were 88 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, the Ministry of Health reported on Thursday.

Two people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, there were 7423 new community cases of Covid-19.

Throughout the country, 411 people were in hospital with Covid-19.

The ministry reported the deaths of 19 people with Covid-19.
