The Ministry of Health reported there are 75 new community cases of Covid-19 in Whanganui. Photo / Bevan Conley

There are 75 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region, according to the Ministry of Health's Thursday update.

The ministry also reported there are two people in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, the ministry reported 5435 new community cases.

Throughout the country, there are 377 people in hospital with Covid-19.

The ministry also reported the deaths of 15 people with Covid-19.
