The Ministry of Health recorded 67 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region. Photo / Bevan Conley

The Whanganui region recorded 67 new community cases of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday.

Eight people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, there were 4811 new community cases recorded.

Throughout the country, there were 533 people in hospital with Covid-19, 12 of whom were in intensive care.

The ministry reported 21 Covid-related deaths across the country.
