The Whanganui region has recorded 220 new community cases of Covid-19.

The last time Whanganui recorded more than 200 daily cases was on April 15.

The Ministry of Health reported today 13 people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19.

Nationally, the ministry reported 11464 community cases of Covid-19.

Throughout the country, 729 people were in hospital with Covid-19.
