The West Coast Bombers are on roller derby duty at Jubliee Stadium again this weekend.

Wild west roller derby action rolls into town this Saturday as the West Coast Bombers bring "Wheels of the West" to Whanganui.

Doors open at midday Saturday with the West Coast Bombers mixed gender team taking on Palmerston North's Swamp City Roller Derby's "Mash Up" team. This promises to be a demonstration of skate skills and athleticism as the locals battle it out against the neighbouring city.

The Twisted Sister team have a clean slate against the Stealthies to date and so the Bombers will be looking to turn the tables this round.

In a New Zealand first, the West Coast Bombers will field a league all men's team who are taking on a New Zealand wide invitational all mens' team full of players who represented New Zealand at the Mens Roller Derby World Cup.
