Clint Park teamed with Ray Park and Alan Dickson to win the Men's Triples for the Bowls Wanganui centre titles.

Clint Park teamed with Ray Park and Alan Dickson to win the Men's Triples for the Bowls Wanganui centre titles.

Bowls Wanganui has found their centre champions for the 2017-18 season after two weekends of playoffs action.

Several games were played down to the wire, most notably the Men's Fours where an extra end was needed to find the winner between Wanganui BC and Aramoho BC.

The average age of the winning Women's Fours team from Wanganui BC was 80 years old, showing with age comes wisdom.

Singles: Gavin Scrivener (Aramoho) bt Stacey Thomas (Levin); Pairs: Cary and Warwick Pinker (Wanganui East) bt Clint and Ray Park (Wanganui); Triples: Clint and Ray Park, Alan Dickson bt Peter and John Bellis, Brendon Kenny; Fours: Kevin Burney (s), Glen Springer, Alan Springer and Anthony Hannah (Wanganui) bt Phil Corney (s), Lyndsay Bourne, Gavin Scrivener and Sewyn Prescott (Aramoho).
