Waverley Library will be closed next week while new carpet is laid.

Libraries and cultural services manager Cath Sheard said the popular community hub needed a spruce-up.

"Along with new carpet, the interior and exterior will be painted in the next few months and while the carpet is laid the LibraryPlus needs to be close," Sheard said.
"We hope the Waverley residents will be delighted with the fresh new look. We encourage them to stock up on books or visit the Patea Library.''

Waverley Library closes on March 12 and reopens on Monday March 19 at 9am.
