There will be a chance to see South American and Latin dances performed at the Sarjeant on Saturday night.
The Latin American and Spanish Film Festival will be celebrated with a fiesta opening celebration at Sarjeant on the Quay tomorrow night.
In addition to the traditional food and music on offer, there will be two professional dance troupes performing.
Renee and Irina from Dance Whanganui will perform the Cuban
salsa, the bachata from the Dominican Republic and the tango from Argentina.
A troupe from Palmerston North, will showcase merengue from the Dominican Republic, the cumbia and mapale from Colombia and the cueca from Chile.
The Fiesta will commence at Sarjeant on the Quay, 38 Taupo Quay at 7pm, tomorrow.
