Police have yet to determine the cause of an accident along Whanganui's Mosston Rd on Tuesday that knocked out a power pole, cutting electricity to about 200 homes.
The 23-year-old female driver was taken to Whanganui Hospital with moderate injuries after being cut from the vehicle by emergency services.
Policesaid today that inquiries into the crash were ongoing and it was too soon to speculate on the cause of the accident.
Several residents have raised concerns about both the speed of traffic along Mosston Rd and parts of its design.
