Deputy Prime Minister Bill English is set to visit Wanganui tomorrow.
Mr English will spend the day in Wanganui, arriving about 9am and leaving around 3.30pm.
During his time here, Mr English will meet with local charity organisations to discuss funding issues, visit VitaPower directors John and Ruth Palamountain, and
visit Housing New Zealand's Wanganui office.
He will have lunch at Element Cafe with members of the Whanganui Chamber of Commerce, where he will give a talk on the current state of the New Zealand economy. Later in the afternoon he will meet with local members of the National Party.
As well as being deputy prime minister, Mr English is also the Minister of Finance, and the Minister for Housing New Zealand.
