The time left to see works about the coastline is like the tide - running out fast.
Littoral Drift is an exhibition by Wanganui artists Felicity Priest, Fiona McGowan, Sue James, Deb Frederikse, Jill Stegmann and Jenn Dickie in a variety of media, including acrylic painting, porcelain, and chalk pastels on paper.
Littoral drift is that part of the seashore between the low and high tide.
The exhibition had its start on beach walks.
"We went for walks along the Waitotara and Waverley beaches, where we drew and drank in the scenery," said Felicity Priest. "We all have a fascination in common with the littoral drift."
