A helicopter and 12 firefighter crews are battling a blaze near State Highway 2 in Hauraki, Waikato.
Fire and Emergency NZ said the fire was reported after 3pm.
“We are in attendance where a digger and vegetation are on fire,” a
spokesperson said.
“We have 12 crews in attendance, that’s 48 firefighters.”
