Person critical after collision in Waikato

A person has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a serious crash in Waikato.

Emergency services were alerted to a crash between a car and a motorcycle on Newcastle St, Ngaruawahia, around 6:15am.

One person is in a critical condition.

There are diversions in place at the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
