Sudima Hotels New Zealand is offering central city accommodation to suit all budgets in a historic Hamilton hotel.

The refurbished Commercial Hotel is the latest in Sudima Hotels' New Zealand chain. Sudima already operates three hotels under its brand - Auckland Airport, Lake Rotorua and Christchurch Airport. It also operates an apartment-style property in Brisbane, in conjunction with Best Western.

Hamilton's Commercial Hotel, on Victoria St, was built in 1876 and is recognised by the Historic Places Trust. The hotel has recently undergone a significant upgrade of rooms, a new lounge bar and a boardroom. It is located within easy reach of Hamilton's SkyCity Casino, Claudelands Event Centre, shopping, theatres and major sports venues.

Renovations include the addition of modern furnishings and fittings to all accommodation facilities and public service areas. Features also include on-site parking, wireless internet access, en suite amenities, kitchenettes, laundry facilities and 24-hour guest services.

It encompasses a dedicated, multi-purpose meeting room and conference facility and features a professionally trained team to assist with every requirement including full catering needs.

Sudima Hotels New Zealand chief executive Sudesh Jhunjhnuwala says the Hamilton property is a welcome addition to the Sudima family.

"This represents the fifth operating under our brand and is the first with an external owner."

To celebrate the Hamilton Sudima Hotel there will be an introductory offer for a limited time with rooms available from $99 including GST per room per night and parking located in the rear of the hotel.
