The family of a 77-year-old man missing since Friday have fears for his safety.

William Rex Sim was last seen by work colleagues in Hamilton.

Acting Detective Sergeant Terri Wilson said there had been no further sightings and his family were concerned for him.

Mr Sim is described as a European of medium build, about 1.8m tall.

He is believed to be driving a 2006 green Toyota Camry, registration DNB671.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Hamilton police on 07 858 6200 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
