An eight-year-old Hamilton boy who went missing last night has been found by his father.

Keith Wilson was found by his father at about 8.30am.

Police said Keith Wilson was last seen on Byron Rd between 5pm and 6pm.

He had been riding a white BMX bike.

Hamilton Senior Sergeant
Andrew O'Reilly said police and Search and Rescue volunteers conducted searches for the boy overnight and late and night shift patrols were briefed to keep an eye out for him.
