A 36-year-old remains in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit following a motocross accident yesterday.
The Waikato District Health Board said the Auckland man suffered "massive chest injuries, with multiple fractures" after crashing while riding at the Taupo Moto-X track.
He was taken to Taupo Hospital beforehe was flown by the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance to Waikato Hospital in critical condition.
