Glamping at festival

Festival-goers can camp out in style at next year's Parachute Festival.

Together with Wildernest, festival organisers are offering music lovers the chance to experience "glamping" - like camping, but better.

The 2014 Parachute Festival will offer punters all the joys of sleeping under canvas but without all that effort and with a real bed, power, even a concierge - it's five-star camping at its finest.

Parachute glampers will be given the choice between Wildernest's basic or deluxe suite packages.

The basic suite will see people greeted on arrival by their own concierge who'll take luggage to a 5m round bell tent. All tents are 100 per cent waterproof canvas in case the weather packs in.

The tent includes LED bedside lights, an airbed (queen and/or singles), an outdoor lounge, and power to charge electronics.

The deluxe package features a tealight chandelier, hotel slippers, cotton-linen mattress, plush bedding and an outdoor lounge.
