Red poppies will make a splash on city streets today.
RSA members, volunteers and representatives will be offering the iconic poppies in return for donations to their welfare fund which services the needs of returned servicemen and their families.
Funds collected are applied to the district where donations are made.
Volunteers will cover all the main CBD streets, shopping centres and malls.
Co-ordinators are hoping the annual appeal will equal the $40,000-odd collected last year.
