Art and history are the last things you might expect to find on Chorus cabinets, but local artists have begun decorating the cabinets for a second time. A venture between Chorus and the Rotorua District Council to decorate 11 cabinets around Rotorua was recently extended to cover a further 12 of the most frequently tagged cabinets in the city.

More than 2000 kids turned out for the Rotorua Mini Marathon on Friday to kick of marathon weekend in the city. Rotorua Daily Post's Ben Fraser grabbed the camera and went down.
