Hamish Fletcher is the New Zealand Herald's Managing Editor for Planned Journalism and is responsible for Premium content and newsroom planning.

Since joining the newsroom as a reporter in 2010, he has done stints as Business Editor, Head of News, and Deputy Editor. He was Editorial Leader of the Year at the 2022 Voyager Media Awards.
