Workers at Waipawa's Four Square store were left shaken following a robbery last night.

Constable Andy Walker said two people wearing hoodies and scarves over their faces entered the store, stole money and cigarettes, and then left.

A Police scene guard remains in place, with a forensic examination due to be done this morning.

Mr Walker said the store attendants that were present at the time were extremely shaken by the incident.

He said anyone with information can contact the Waipukurau Police station or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
