Save A woman who was walking her dog has been hit and killed by a train near Napier today.
Police are currently at the scene of the incident on Marine Parade where the woman's body which has been covered by a sheet, is still laying on track.
Early indications are the
woman was walking south along the track with a dog at 3.45pm when she was hit by the south bound train.
The woman's name or age have not been released and a police investigations are continuing.
