"We launched this event as a way for families in Kaitaia to connect with a range of local health services they may have otherwise not known about," he said.
"We're so grateful to all the organisations that have come on board. They're making a big difference in the community, and we're proud to be a part of that."
The organisations there will include Sport Northland, Toi Tangata and iMoko, the programme founded by Kaitaia GP Lance O'Sullivan to reduce rheumatic fever, Plunket, Women's Refuge, Te Hiku Hauora, Variety the Children's Charity, Far North District Council Parks and Recreation, Green Prescription, Mental Health Foundation, Blue Light, NZ Fire Service, Healthy Families Far North, Wakakura, Navilluso Medical, and dental health (Lift the Lip).
