Mangakahia Squash Club's Brent Lewis won the battle of the sexes at the Mangakahia Squash Open, taking top honours and providing an entertaining match with Mangakahia's leading lady, Sacha Pou-Tito.
From a keen field of 61 entrants in Poroti, some quality squash was observed, which resulted in Lewis and Pou-Tito going head-to-head in the final of mixed open division.
In the men's division one grade, Shayden Toka of Whangarei took the honours, with Sam Robson coming in runner-up at the Open on the last weekend in June - after recently returning from six years away from the game.
Miranda Harrison was the clear winner in the ladies' division one, not dropping a set throughout her matches.
Meanwhile, Fiona Hailes was the winner of the Angus player series spot prize.
