The North Force Under-14 boys registered a 3-2 win against a strong Oratia side at Tikipunga.
The home game helped them make amends for a 1-2 loss to Oratia at the start of the season.
Just like last week, when North Force beat North Shore United, the Northern team cameout strong and gained the upper hand early with a great through-ball from Connor Jack to Malcolm Young. Young then placed the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.
Oratia came back in the 20th minute with a header over the goalkeeper's head which came from some miscommunication on defence.
North Force then scored another goal five minutes before halftime courtesy of Jack Williams who dribbled the ball around the goalkeeper and tucked the ball into the back of the net.
Oratia came out strongly in the second half and scored another goal which was unlucky for the North Force boys as a contentious referee decision didn't go their way.
Despite this, North Force picked up their heads quickly and came straight back with another goal from Williams.
This goal proved to be the difference as North Force continued to pressure the visiting team for the rest of the game.
