Umpires Corner

Possession of the rink: As soon as each bowl comes to rest possession of the rink changes to the opposing team. Players are therefore reminded that by the time their bowls comes to rest, they should have returned to the mat area or if they have followed their bowl up the green they should be at the head by the time their bowl stops.

Failure to do so can result in the last bowl of the offending team being declared dead. Law 35.1 to 35.3.3.

Reminders

Umpires Association Any Combination Fours tournament to be held on December 14 at Kensington Club - entries to Sylvia, phone 094377681.

The New Zealand Trust finals are currently being replayed on Sky Sport 3 at 7.30pm. They will be replayed every Tuesday until December 27 when you will see the final of the Triples which shows our Northland team in action.
