Three generations of family all winning awards was the highlight of the Mangapai Hockey Club end-of-year prizegiving.

Brian Codlin, son Calvin and Calvin's two sons, Dylan and Ethan Codlin, received trophies from their various coaches.

The oldest Codlin, Brian, is the oldest playing member in the Mangapai Club and represents Northland in Masters Hockey.

Brian won the Team Contribution Award for his men's division two side, while Dylan picked up Most Promising Player title for the reserve A team.

Picking up a brace of awards was Calvin, who won the reserve A Captain's Choice award as well as the Bill Ormandy Trophy for Club Contribution later in the evening.

The youngest Codlin, Ethan, rounded out the awards by picking up Player of the Year for his JMC Division 1 side.

Over 100 people turned out for the awards last month, supporting the players and coaches in what is considered a successful season of hockey by Mangapai.
