5. None of the prizes can be exchanged for cash or on sold.
6. Information on How to Enter and all details and instructions appearing on the entry form, forms part of the terms and conditions of entry to this Competition.
To the extent of any inconsistency in the information on How to Enter and other details and instructions, the Terms and Conditions will prevail.
7. Entry into this Competition indicates an acceptance and agreement of all these terms & conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you should not enter the Competition.
8. The promotional period runs from Friday 14th August until Sunday 16th August 2009.
9. Entry is open to NZ residents except employees (and such employees' immediate families) of APN New Zealand Limited (The Northern Advocate), and Chilltech. Failure to provide all requested personal information at the time of submitting an entry may result in the entry being invalid. Only people over the age of 18 are eligible to enter this competition.
10. To enter, fill out the entry form given to you at The Home Show and put it in the entry box at The Northern Advocate stand at site 73. Entrants may only enter once and the entry must be on an official entry form (no photocopies accepted).
Entries must be received at the show before 4.00pm on Sunday 16th August 2009.
11. The prize draw for the competition will take place at 8.30am on Monday 17
August 2009 following the entry close off date.
12. The winners will be notified by phone (where applicable) and confirmed in writing.
13. If a prize winner cannot be contacted within five days, at The Northern Advocate's option that winner will forfeit the prize with no right of compensation and the prize will be re-drawn.
14. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. It is the winner's responsibility to cover any additional costs associated with the prize.
16. Prizes are not exchangeable, not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
17. Each person who enters the Competition acknowledges that no representation as to the quality or fitness for purpose of the prize has been made by The Northern Advocate or any representative of The Northern Advocate.
18. All entries become the property of The Northern Advocate. The Northern
Advocate collects and holds personal information provided with each entry, to be used to notify prize winners, to verify prize winners' identities and, unless otherwise requested may be used for future promotional activities conducted by The Northern Advocate and Chilltech. Under the Privacy Act 1993, all individuals have rights of access to and correction of their personal information held by The Northern Advocate at 88 Robert Street, Whangarei by contacting The Northern Advocate on 0800 652 399 during business hours. Failure to provide all requested personal information at the time of submitting an entry may result in the entry being invalid.
19. The winners' names and photos may be used for publicity purposes and by accepting the prizes the winners must make themselves available for this purpose.
