Semi naked students scare families'

The same scavenger hunt which saw a group of semi-naked students bashed outside Kawakawa's world-famous Hundertwasser toilets also caused havoc at a sheep-themed tourist attraction near Warkworth.
Sheepworld owner John Collyer contacted the Northern Advocate after seeing Tuesday's story casting new light on the September 25 attack on a group of
Auckland students.
The students laid a complaint with Kawakawa police, but it emerged later through CCTV footage that they were partly naked when attacked and robbed of a camera by a young couple.
Mr Collyer said the same scavenger hunt had visited Sheepworld, and the students appeared to be drunk and were so "completely out of control" he called the police.
"They were stripping off naked and running around the complex, frightening visitors - mostly families - and animals."
He called Warkworth police but the students had left by the time officers arrived.
Mr Collyer said he was not surprised they were confronted in Kawakawa if their behaviour was anything like the "disgraceful scenes" at Sheepworld.
In previous years, participants in the scavenger hunt had hooned around the carpark, throwing cans out of car windows and terrifying visitors, he said.
In some cases they had stripped completely, Mr Collyer said.
"When you're on a family day out you don't want to see that."
"The behaviour they've displayed here was completely offensive, with no regard for anyone else. I can understand people would be offended, especially on a main street at a tourist attraction," he said.
Mr Collyer said he had tried contacting the university to trace the organisers but no one was willing to take responsibility.
Sheepworld is on State Highway 1 north of Warkworth with pink sheep in the front paddock.
The Kawakawa CCTV footage shows the group of students arrive, dressed in cowboy theme, and strip to their waists together in the toilet block. Three young women and two men pose topless as another member of the group takes a photo.
As they are putting their clothes on a young man is seen confronting them, then throwing punches at a young man clad only in his underpants.
A young woman appears and is seen taking a camera and arguing with the students. Other CCTV footage shows the woman push or punch a female student to the ground and kick or stomp on her head.
The man and woman then leave together, taking the students' camera.
