Future Northland player Winston Stanley will this evening pull on the Highlanders jersey for the first time as he prepares to start their pre-season clash with the Brumbies.

Stanley is joined on his Highlanders debut by six others - Craig Millar, Gareth Evans, Lee Allan, Tom Franklin, Richard Buckman, and Patrick Osborne.

The match in Queenstown, which kicks off at 6pm, signifies Stanley's return to New Zealand Super Rugby after playing for the Western Force in Australia.
