Police have been searching throughout the night for an elderly man who failed to return home after checking equipment on a farm in Kaeo.
Police said the man had gone to check the equipment on the farm on Topps Access Rd about midday yesterday. When he did not return lastnight his family contacted police.
Police search and rescue had been looking for the man last night and continued searching in to the early hours of this morning.
Another search and rescue team were sent to Kaeo today and police said a helicopter may be sent to help search the area.
