The childhood tale The Owl and The Pussycat gets a bit of a twist when the Company of Giants brings its version home to Whangārei for the weekend.
The city's favourite misfit bunch is back to tell its tale of love and romance at Oneonesix Bank St, Whangārei, before theyhead off to the big smoke with it.
For one wee wintry weekend of love, music and oodles of joy, the Giants will sweep the imaginative of all ages away in a pea-green boat with the pussycat, the owl, the mad turkey shaking his wiblet and the lonely piggy-wig singing to the moon.
This is a tale of delight and wonder set to the dusky hues of a late night jazz club and a small guitar.
With new original music and some old favourites, its a show that appeals to all ages. Coffee and treats by Luna Espresso will be available.
Company of Giants will be performing this show a week later at the Winter Garden in the Civic Theatre, presented by Auckland Live so will be kicking off their mini tour with a return season in their hometown of Whangārei.
There are two shows each tomorrow from 10am–11am and 7pm-8pm, then again on Sunday from 10am-11am and 1pm-2pm.
