Not all beds are the same... just like people

Not all beds are the same... just like people

BY CORGI SMIT, FROM BEDS R US WHANGAREI

Q: What spring system would you recommend?

Well, here at BedsRus we offer a variety of spring and spring less systems in our mattresses that are manufactured by Sleepyhead. But it really does depend on who will be using the bed, what they weigh and how deep your pockets are?

Without getting too technical, its best I keep this simple and explain the benefits so you can narrow it down to suit your individual requirements.

If the bed is for the kids, young or teenage years, we would recommend either our basic Bonnel spring system, with a weight guideline of 80kg per person and a 5 year warranty, or if you needed something more substantial for their growing bodies, in terms of longevity and great support, we would highly recommend the Torquezone spring system. It's backed by the New Zealand Chiropractic Association for its strength, durability and correct alignment of your spine. This spring system was developed some 35 years ago. The weight guideline is 140kg per person and extremely well priced. This system is also ideal for adults in all situations.

For those who require a bed that lessens partner disturbance and offers better alignment of your spine (5 zoned) then the recent improved Torquezone spring system, known as HD Chiropractic, which is stronger, is ideal and has unlimited weight guidelines.

For the couples who want minimal partner disturbance, there are a lot more choices, like pocket spring beds. Because the springs are individual and in a web format, they are designed to keep partner disturbance at the low end of the scale... Ideally if you want minimal partner disturbance and greater spine alignment, best to try our exclusive range of 7 zoned pocket sprung Swisstek beds. The weight guideline on pocket springs is 110kg per person.

Stepping up to pure luxury, which encompasses all the great features of no partner disturbance, perfect alignment of your spine and glorious comfort, then look no further than the Sensorzone spring range of beds. The springs in these beds, never touch each other, as they are embedded in a Dreamfoam core. A choice of different comfort levels are available across the ranges, i.e. firm, medium and soft, plus silk and wool is used in the quilting, which improves air circulation. They too are approved by the NZ Chiropractic Association and have an unlimited weight guideline.

Last but not least, for those who prefer a mattress with no springs, there are a couple of options. The first is the Design Mobel full latex mattress, extremely healthy, particularly for those asthma sufferers and for those who prefer a more "natural" mattress. The second option for me, the ultimate, (sorry I am biased)it moulds to your entire body, supporting without pressure build up, cooler and has an extremely fast reaction time, its the Fusion Gel range, which are exclusive to BedsRus in Whangarei . They are also perfect for any Adjustable bed base.

Please be aware that all the above beds come in a variety of different comfort levels and all have a 10 year warranty. At BedsRus Whangarei, we offer a 30 Day Comfort Warranty (conditions apply), so call in and we will promise to do our best in matching you to your perfect sleep.

PS: Please remember information is always free, so if you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to call us on 0800141640 (option 2), 7 days a week. I also recommend you look at our BedsRus website. Till next time....and it will be in a lighter vein! Cheers, Corgi
