Three Northland resorts have made the list of the top 25 hotels for families in the annual TripAdvisor website's Traveller's Choice Awards in New Zealand.
Probably unsurprisingly to most, all three are in the Bay of Islands, with Russell Cottage, in Russell placing eighth in the Top 25 Hotels forFamilies - New Zealand category of the Travellers' Choice Awards.
Nautilus Resort, in Paihia came in at number 10 in the category, while Edgewater Palms, also in Paihia, was voted number 25.
Top spot in the category went to Taupo's Sacred Waters Luxury Apartments.
The winners were judged from among the website's members and thousands of comments, reviews and recommendations made on each one.
