Apprentices will be put to the test, demonstrating their skills while competing to become Northland's NZCB Apprentice Challenge winner and progress to the national final. This year's challenge will give apprentices eight hours to build a park seat, a challenging task which will put their skills, attention to detail, and time management to the test. The winning apprentice will be crowned Northland's 2019 NZCB Apprentice Challenge winner. The event is from 8am at NorthTec, 19 Dyer St, Raumanga, Whangarei and is open to the public. The best time to attend is from 3pm onwards, with Northland's 2019 champion announced around 5pm.
