Manawanui Red and Helena Bay Whangaruru will make their first grand final appearances tomorrow night at Kensington Stadium as the premier reserve and premier grades' seasons come to an end.
The premier reserve final kicks off the evening at 5.30pm and will be between Manawanui Red and Wahine Toa 1,with Wahine Toa making it a hat-trick of finals.
Wahine Toa will be looking to get their first win in the grade since 2012 while Manawanui Red make their debut in a premier reserve final.
The premier final at 7.30pm is between Fideliter 1 and Helena Bay Whangaruru, with Fideliter 1 looking to make it four titles in a row.
The premier final promises to be a nail-biting and intense game, showcasing the best netballing talent in Whangarei, and possibly in Northland.
For Fideliter 1, their season has been unrivalled and they have come through unbeaten - on occasion they have been challenged, and most often by the Whangaruru side.
Their most recent match up in the major semifinal two weeks ago saw Fideliter 1 win by only four goals.
The Fideliter team head into the final as the favourite given their performances to date and their status as defending premier champions.
However, you can be sure that Whangaruru will leave everything on the court looking to secure the title for the first time.
For the premier reserve teams, whose season is played outdoors, the indoor experience will give the players an opportunity to play a slightly different and often faster game.
Both games promise to be exciting and well-contested matches and all four teams are deserving of their positions at the top of their respective grades.
Entry to the finals at Kensington Stadium is free and local two-piece band A2Stix will perform between the games.
