Keen runners, walkers loop the loop

It was a beautiful day and a beautiful setting.

The weather gods smiled on the Jennian Homes Mother's Day Run/Walk on Sunday.

More than 1300 participants tackled the Sport Northland-organised 6km walk or 8km run on the Paihia/Waitangi loop, which took participants through the Waitangi Treaty Grounds before finishing in the Paihia township.

The next event in the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series is the Dargaville Veterinary Centre Baylys 2 Dargaville Run/Walk, to be held on June 14.
