Protective Coatings - Northland Region
Altex Coatings Ltd, a Resene Group Company, is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Sales Representative. Based in the Northland region, this position will require some travel around the Northland region.
If you would like to work for an industry leader, we seek someone looking for career growth who has the strategic ability to develop and grow our coatings business. This will be supported by ongoing in-depth product knowledge and industry training. This great opportunity covers the heavy duty industrial and commercial marine coatings market, calling on end users, local bodies and consulting engineers, vessel owners.
For our team we seek someone who can build business by identifying opportunities, sell solutions, develop and maintain sound relationships and quality service, prepare reports, and maintain professional and technical knowledge.
The successful person will possess the following attributes:
• A proven track record in client account management, offering outstanding customer service.
• The attitude and drive to succeed, especially in meeting/exceeding budget.
• A passion to learn in a fast paced industry.
• A willingness to be proactive in a hands-on sales role
• Practical, and be able demonstrate good technical skills within the sales process.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail
• Good skills and knowledge using Microsoft Office programs.
